A Message From The President
By Rae Saulino
Welcome back everyone! We especially welcome our new members to OCREA and hope they will join us at luncheon meetings and travel with us. The luncheon meetings are an opportunity to meet and greet new friends and catch up with former colleagues. Luncheon meetings are also a time to be entertained, keep up with issues facing education today, ask questions and, perhaps, volunteer to be part of the Executive Board in some capacity.
This will be an exciting year as we install the Officers for the 2019 – 2021 term of office, install the Officers of the Philanthropic Fund for the 2019 – 2021 term of office and recognize the legendary Women of the Wavelet. See for yourself when you attend our October Luncheon and are serenaded by the Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre.
Your Officers and Executive Board Members have been busy on your behalf all summer long. They have attended workshops at NJREA in Trenton, have met in committees at the OCCEA Office in Brick, have sent and received numerous emails from NJREA/NJEA. They are dedicated to everyone’s well being and are honored to serve OCREA as they continue their commitment to education, the students they served and future students.
Some of our Executive Board Members serve on NJREA Committees such as Constitution, NJREA’s 100th Anniversary, Health Benefits, Government Relations, Technology and Instruction to name a few.
So, without much further ado, we hope to meet and greet you in October at the fall luncheon on October 12 at the Clarion Hotel, Rte. 37, Toms River, NJ.
Thank you all for your continued support and assistance. OCREA can’t do it without you!
